Part 1: HTML5 Web Component Fundamentals

Learners will explore HTML5 Web Components to provide the power to define standards. Apprentices will learn how to use the Shadow DOM to encapsulate the DOM and styling for your components. Define inert templates with the template tag. Extend HTML by registering your custom elements. And bundle this all together in a simple reusable package using HTML5 imports.

Part 2: Oracle Java

Learners will explore how to migrate existing web applications to run in the cloud. Do you need to run multiple languages and runtimes at the same time? Apprentices will learn how to create Java SE and Node.js applications and run them in Oracle Application Container Cloud Service.

Path 1: HTML5 Web Component Fundamentals

Learners will explore HTML5 Web Components to provide the power to define standards and learn to extend HTML by registering your custom elements.

Path 2: Oracle Java

Learners will explore how to migrate existing web applications to run in the cloud. In this course, Oracle Cloud for Developers, apprentices will learn how to create Java SE and Node.js applications.

Path 3: Oracle PL/sql

Learners will explore the essentials and fundamentals of Oracle PL/SQL, including, what is PL/SQL and why learn it, anonymous blocks, commonly used datatypes in PL/SQL and Loops. Conditional statements - If/else/elseif, etc. Cursors, exceptions, debugging, and more

Path 1: Agile Testing Methods

During this programme, learners will receive an additional one-day virtual classroom followed by online e-learning modules where they will explore agile testing methods to ensure customer satisfaction, and product agility. A quality suite of automated tests helps achieve this. This practical course covers how and what to test at the unit, integration, and functional UI levels; and how to bring them all together with continuous integration build server.

Path 2: Introduction to Cucumber

During this programme, learners will receive an additional one day virtual classroom followed by online e-learning modules where they will be introduced to automated testing techniques using Cucumber and to build confidence in using automation testing. Cucumber is the world’s leading tool for BDD. Work faster and smarter than competition by supporting a team-centric, crossfunctional workflow.
