Overview

Friedmans are stretch fabric processors and specialists who provide wholesale quantity fabrics to customers uk and overseas.

Predominantly their fabrics are used for dancewear, swimwear, costumes, tv/film productions.
They retail the same product range through an ecommerce store, to small cottage industries
and end users. Their product is fun, bold, superior quality and innovative. When sewn into its
end use, for which the list is diverse, it transforms into high end, attention grabbing products.
Their processes are simple but fascinating. Their employees are invested in the company and
product and to delivering the best customer experience.

Their focus is new business. They want to create quality creatives to demonstrate their fantastic
products and market themselves to new and existing industries with a requirement for stretch
fabrics.

As a  Marketing Executive Apprentice your job responsibilities would include (but not
be limited to):

● Brainstorming new and creative ideas
● Researching, planning and developing marketing strategies
● Implementing marketing activities including social media, website, blog, SEO, email
marketing and more
● Driving traffic to company pages
● Developing engaging online content including videos, graphics, and written copy
● Measuring and reporting performance of digital marketing campaigns, assessing against
goals, using relevant sites such as Google Analytics, Adwords etc
● Keeping abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends
and insights; implementing these new technologies and insights in developing
campaigns

The Marketing Executive will play a key and exciting role in the marketing team by delivering on a range of professional and retail marketing campaigns and projects.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work across the team supporting Creative, Digital and Event Initiatives. From social media and digital campaigns to large scale events and nationwide multimedia campaigns, the marketing executive will skilfully support a wide range of projects and guide them successfully through to completion.  

This is a great role for an aspiring junior marketer looking to gain across the board experience in a fast-paced marketing team. As well as gaining vast experience, there will be plentiful in-house training opportunities and the option to focus on specific areas of interest.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Apprentice

The following tasks will be key to being effective in the role:

Supporting project management on a range of digital and traditional retail marketing campaigns working closely with our marketing team, suppliers and liaising directly with customer to bring the campaign to a successful outcome.

Working on a range of exciting Business to Business marketing initiatives to support our commercial objectives. Helping to put the building blocks of campaigns together so we can executive successfully and on time.

Supporting social media content creation and execution. Interpreting creative brand guidelines in an innovative way to produce exciting, fresh creative that is impactful and engaging but always on brand.   

Working directly with customers to build and support their retail campaigns and help grow their business.

Creating effective working relationships with various internal teams, external stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.

Lending support to our European teams and partners to facilitate knowledge sharing around content creation across our regional market.

Support marketing analysis. Help monitor and track marketing activity so we can learn, refine and improve for future.


Things to consider

You will be working in the office 5 days a week, except your apprenticeship training days.
