The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a crucial position as we build our first sales function, responsible for spearheading the generation of new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and developing relationships with target accounts. This role involves a strategic approach to building target account lists and leveraging multiple channels for outreach, with a strong emphasis on promoting our solution via email and content channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Utilise various research methods to build and maintain a pipeline of target accounts within the client service industries, with a particular focus on marketing services initially. Identify potential leads and key decision-makers to initiate the sales process.

Outreach & Engagement: Engage with potential clients through cold calling, emailing, social channels, and networking. With a strong focus on automating outreach sequences for content across email and social channels. Adapting communication strategies to maximize engagement and response rates across different channels.

Product Demonstration: Conduct in-depth product demonstrations to highlight the capabilities and benefits of our AI for client service teams. Tailor demonstrations to address the specific needs and challenges of prospects, showcasing how our technology can provide value and drive business outcomes.

Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the founders and product team to refine outreach efforts and messaging based on market feedback and trends. Work closely with the CEO and contribute to the development of sales strategies and product improvements.

Performance Tracking: Utilise Kaizan and CRM tools to track sales activities, follow-up actions, and conversion rates. Report on sales performance against targets and metrics, aiming to exceed established goals.

 


Entry requirements

  • Degree-educated would be beneficial.
  • Some experience with  B2B or B2C sales (year or less)
  • Grade C/4 or above in GCSE maths and english 
  • Interest in AI technologies and their application in future work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven with a commitment ro personal and professional growth.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is ideal.

Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship

A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.

A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.
