Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn about DSL Group's diverse range of products/services and understand their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities through proactive lead generation, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Support the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using our CRM system.
  • Continuously enhance your sales skills and knowledge through participation in training sessions, workshops, and self-directed learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by actively engaging in team meetings and sharing ideas for improvement.

 


Entry requirements

Minimum of GCSE grade 4/C in both Maths and English.

Previous sales experience is prefered.

Ready to hit the ground running.

A Sales Executive is a sales person working in either the Business to Business or Business to Consumer markets with the responsibility to sell a specific product line or service. They plan their sales activities, lead the end-to-end sales interaction with the customer and manage their sales internally within their organisation. They will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of existing customer accounts, and generating new business by contacting prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and bringing the sales process to a mutually acceptable close.

A Sales Executive will develop customer relationships by establishing rapport and building trust and confidence in their own and their organisation’s capabilities through demonstration of detailed product knowledge, competitor knowledge and an understanding of the market in which they operate, and by ensuring a positive customer experience.
