It's a proud day

Today Apprentify is running its first digital marketer apprenticeship assessment centre in Manchester. One of the first things we decided when we set the business up was that we needed to ensure that we our apprentices and employers had a long-term partnership. Our apprenticeship assessment centre has been designed to identify the best digital marketing talent or the potential to become the best.Online Marketing Apprenticeship

So why is it so important in the world of digital marketing or apprenticeships to get this right? The ability to identify the core competencies and behaviours of an apprentice is key but also to then match these with the employer, role and more importantly the culture of the business is so important.

I worked at one of the largest graduate assessment and training businesses in the UK Pareto Law. From this experience I knew the importance of getting the right person in the right job. How many times have employers and employees been taken on after a short phone call and a one-hour face to face interview? How many of this have been a success? In most cases it is pure luck.

We have designed our apprentice assessment centre to include 9 tasks or assessments both pre the assessment day and on the day. This gives us the ability to identify a matrix of key aspects that make great digital marketer along with behaviours. Out of this the employer is matched with how they fit with the business, the role and the culture.

We have invested a huge amount of time and money designing along with working with some of the best technologies out there. It sets us apart from other providers and we don't charge for it! We haven't done this to earn extra money we have done this to ensure that we are placing the very best talent that sticks long term. We want to invest in our apprentices from the moment they apply to ensure that right through the apprenticeship that they get the very best service.

So today is a proud day and there will be many more of these digital marketer apprenticeship assessment days in Manchester and Leeds this year. For one I can't wait for today to start as is the start of our journey and hopefully a successful one for our apprentices and employers.

My Second Month as a Junior Content Producer Apprentice at Apprentify

Month 2! Where did this month go? Early in the month I started working on my first project in my social media calendar for International Women’s Day.
