2018 - The start of the Journey
Apprentify sets out to close the gap in apprentice market
Apprentify was born as an idea in August 2018 by founder Paul Drew. After leaving his previous business where he successfully launched apprenticeship programmes, he decided that there was not a single apprenticeship provider on the market that successfully provides the perfect journey. Paul decided that he would use his 20 years in digital marketing and technical positions to launch a specialist digital and tech apprenticeship business that would disrupt the market.
2019 - January
Apprentify were at 5 staff members who developed the best programme and processes. We moved into The Colony offices and were very happy to have a home for the brand. During this time, our first programme (Digital Marketing Level-3) was slowly being shaped.
2019 - March
Apprentify gets its first apprentices on the programme and gains assistance from prime partners to help deliver the digital marketer level 3 course.
2019 - August
Apprentify’s vision of providing the best digital apprenticeships comes to fruition as we sign our first big employer; JD Sports who we work with still today shows a true partnership between large employers and specialist providers. Apprentify also joins in partnership with (subcontractor) The Juice Academy. Apprentify launches its 2nd standard Junior Content Producer level 3.

The pandemic
COVID-19 hits the world as every business starts evaluating their future in the new climate. Apprentify also steps up its support for employers, working with some to provide marketing consultancy or audits; with the aim of offering employers support to ensure they survive throughout the pandemic.
2020 - August
Around this time, the world realises that Digital and Technical talent will drive the future growth of businesses. Apprentify also launches Marketing Executive Level-4.
2021 - January
Developing courses
Apprentify begins the development of some new technical programs such as Software Developer (level-4), Software Technician (level-3), Data Technician (level-3) and Data Analyst (level-4). These new programmes allow Apprentify to take its original Digital Apprenticeship concept, into the technical world.
