Overview

Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client for a PR/Marketing Apprentice in to enrol on our/the Juice Academy's Level 4 PR & Communications apprenticeship programme. Keen to break into the world of PR? This is an entry level role, so we’ll take a look at any go-getter with plenty of vim and vigour.

Keen to break into the world of PR? Then you could be the right person for a PR assistant role with our client.

Having a good understanding of agency life would certainly be useful as well as a good understanding of modern digital comms.

Organisation is a big deal – you’ll need to keep on top of a fair whack.

Being personable is essential (no Dick Dastardlys or Moaning Myrtles, please).

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

Responsibilities will include supporting the ‘Pod’ captain with key tasks, such as…

  • Working on client call notes – and inputting tasks into Monday.com.
  • Ensuring Monday.com is up to date and chasing relevant bods.
  • Gathering data for monthly reports.
  • Working with the PR bod, in your pod, to assist with press, social and copy activities.
  • Turn relevant press articles into blog articles and subsequently upload the materials to client websites.
  • Working on video agendas. Attending video shoots.
  • Liaising with clients. Essentially, keeping them sweet.
  • Supporting the team in the creation and implementation of campaigns. You’ll be part of the planning stage – including creative input.

Entry requirements

  • Grade C/level 4 in GCSE Maths and English is required for apprenticeship eligibiltiy
  • Ability to commute to the company office 2/3 days a week
  • Good understanding of Press Relations and PR.
  • Excellent Organisational skills.
  • Good Written Ability.
  • Strong interest in core sectors.
  • A creative thinker.
  • Polished and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work well in a team – you’ll be supporting the rest of your ‘Team. Pod’, so collaboration is pretty essential.
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines.
  • A real appetite for digital comms.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Fun and friendly demeanour.
  • Finally, a good sense of humour. Yeah, we’re dead funny. So, you’d better be too.

Training to be provided

You will undertake the groundbreaking Juice Academy PR and Communications Level 4 apprenticeship.
