Overview

Our client, a female-founded healthcare pioneer has transformed prescription drugs into OTC brands. They launched one of the first OTC daily contraceptive pills, revolutionising women's health. They successfully commercialise brands in women's healthcare, partner with top retailers, and drive innovation in the £288bn OTC market's evolution.

As a Content Creator Apprentice, you will work closely with a range of individuals at the company, including Brand Manager, Head of Marketing, Business Assistant and the Regulatory Team. 

Your key prupose will be to create engaging content for our client's brand websites, social media channels, and paid media activities; supporting the successful delivery of brand plans to meet business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) With direction from the Brand Manager and Head of Marketing, deliver compelling marketing collateral, assets, and content (video, graphics, written copy) for multi-channel campaigns.

b) Research, plan and develop content ideas to support brand KPIs; be proactive in bringing new ideas to the team.

c) Follow brand guidelines and tone of voice guidance to ensure all content is on brand and delivered to a high standard.

d) Ensure all content is approved for release, following the company’s approval process.

e) Take ownership of the brand D2C e-commerce websites, working closely with the web developer and digital agencies to manage content, deliver continuous improvement for ecommerce sales, and support the SEO strategy.

f) Following guidance from the Brand Manager, take ownership of the CRM system, delivering brand communications in line with the plan.

g) With guidance, complete exercises to analyse the market and gather market competitive information, with a view to identifying possible actions to strengthen brand positions.

h) Understand and keep up to date with the wider market and potential competitors.

i) Establish and build relationships with key internal, external and industry stakeholders.

j) Support the customer enquiries process, responding to all customer enquiries in a timely manner, in line with the company procedure.

k) Measure and report performance of content and digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals, using relevant sites such as Google Analytics.

l) Keep abreast of new social media sites, technologies, and digital marketing trends and insights; implementing these new technologies and insights in developing campaigns.

m) Be an ambassador for our client, internally, externally and with all stakeholders.

PERSON PROFILE:

This is a role for a candidate who is a digital native, in the early stages of their marketing career looking to develop in a fast moving, entrepreneurial working environment.

1. Qualification, Experience and Technical Ability

a) IT literate (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google Analytics, etc.)

b) Well-developed communication skills, written and verbal

c) Sound understanding of social media landscape

d) Confident in content production – written, video, design

j. Will live within commuting distance of Alderley Edge, Cheshire but with combination of weekly WFH and travel to Head Office

Entry requirements

Grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English. Full current driving licence.

The primary duties we cover on our Content Creator apprenticeship are:

  • Plan and develop creative content aligned with the brief and budget/costs.
  • Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
  • Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
  • Develop and create written content for various media.
  • Create visual and audio content for multiple media.
  • Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
  • Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
