Content Creator Apprentice

Overview

Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client for a Content Creator Apprentice to support their marketing and communications efforts by assisting in the creation and publication of engaging and relevant content. This apprenticeship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing and communications, while contributing to the growth of their member services.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the creation of engaging content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, that reflects the tone and voice of the company and helps to grow audience engagement.
• Develop content specifically designed to engage audiences on Instagram and TikTok.
• Collaborate with team members to create and develop innovative content that aligns with the organisation's marketing and communication strategy.
• Support the Communications and Marketing team to develop creative marketing campaigns that promote events and services.
• Interact with their online community by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Support the development and production of promotional materials, such as graphics and other materials for events, products and services for company events.
• Monitor and analyse the performance of content across digital channels and suggest improvements. Help evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communications campaigns through feedback collection and audience surveys, and assist in compiling reports on campaign performance.
• Attend and provide support at flagship events, both in-person and online, assisting with logistics and on-the-day communications, while capturing content to share across platforms.
• Stay up to date with social media updates, and best practices in content marketing.

Entry requirements

 

• Grade C/level 4 in English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent for apprenticeship eligibiltiy 

• A keen interest in content creation, digital marketing, and communications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt style for different audiences

• A passion for exploring and learning more about digital marketing principles.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks

• Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• An interest in business ethics and social responsibility would be a bonus!

The primary duties we cover on our Content Creator apprenticeship are:

• Plan and develop creative content aligned with the brief and budget/costs.
• Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
• Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
• Develop and create written content for various media.
• Create visual and audio content for multiple media.
• Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
• Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
