Videographer & Editor Apprentice

Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client for a Videographer & Editor Apprentice to bring fresh and innovative thinking to the company and play a part in driving the business forward on its exciting journey. Founded in 2020, the client sell vehicle detailing chemical products and accessories, with a critical focus on customer appreciation and incredible service.

The company are looking for a confident and skilled content creator with previous experience in editing on platforms such as CapCut to join their social media Team. This role focuses on videography and content creation/editing for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook posts to engage our audience. Photography skills would be an additional advantage to any applicant but not essential.

As a content creator, your responsibilities would include:

• Gain a deep understanding of the products and team to enable you to capture amazing shots and moments that will translate through visuals.
• Brainstorming new and creative ideas that will help with improving content-capturing vision.
• Create captivating content showcasing our brand, products, and partnerships across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Keeping abreast of social media trends/styles.
• Communicating confidently with other members of the creative and social media team to ensure perfect execution of the content captured.
• The ability to deliver work to deadlines.
• Be available for work outside of hours on occasion.

Entry requirements

• IMPORTANT: Please include on your CV a portfolio of work/examples or social media handles that showcase your most recent work/projects you have edited.
• Grade C/level 4 in English and Maths GCSEs for apprenticeship eligibility.
• A passion and a keen eye for detail.
• Reliable and dedicated to the role.
• Willing to listen, learn and implement whilst having the confidence to fail and learn.
• You should be experienced in CapCut & Adobe Premier Pro.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• You should have experience in videography and editing. If you are also skilled in photography, it would be a bonus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• An interest in the car/automotive industry would be a bonus.
• Be able to commute to the office in Denton, Manchester 5 days a week.

The primary duties we cover on our Content Creator apprenticeship are:

• Plan and develop creative content aligned with the brief and budget/costs.
• Interpret the strategy and objectives of the brand and align these to the content.
• Research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement.
• Develop and create written content for various media.
• Create visual and audio content for multiple media.
• Store content securely and methodically to enable efficient access and retrieval.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to plan and align content delivery with business objectives.
• Manage content online using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the content produced against the original plan and recommend improvements.
